An Age we could wander. Synergy .

In Australia's Northern Territory, just south of Tennant Creek, lies Karlu Karlu, the Devils Marbles Conservation Reserve.

Of great cultural and spiritual significance to the traditional Aboriginal owners of the land, this is one of the oldest religious sites in the world. Mostly underground, a vast granite formation breaks the surface, where the exposed top layer has been subject to thousands of years of erosion. The natural processes of weathering and erosion created wild and varied boulder shapes which form the Devil's Marbles.

1988, In the dark of night, I arrived at the Devil's Marbles campground. Rolled out my 'swag' and slept under a million starts adorning the outback night sky.. The desert is bitterly cold at night, and first light brings with it relief. On this day, it also gave me my first sight of the Karlu Karlu, these remarkable formations all around.

Among them, as if dancing to a tune only they could hear, a tune that echoed across a million years, a rock, and a tree, in synergy.
