FROM GHANA WITH LOVE (PART 1)

welcome 1.jpg

AKWAABA, it’s an expression you will hear several times daily as you travel around Ghana, one that will ring in your ears at night, and bring a smile to your face for weeks after you leave. Akwaaba! It means ‘Welcome’! And you will be.
Welcome to a Land of Sunshine, a nation with the reputation as the friendliest in Africa.
Welcome to a haven that combines the charms of a tropical beach idyll with a fascinating historical heritage, rich cultural variety, and some interesting wildlife in the national parks.
Coat of Arms of Ghana.jpg

Medieval Ghana (4th – 13th Century): The Republic of Ghana is named after the medieval Ghana Empire of West Africa. The actual name of the Empire was Wagadugu. Ghana was the title of the kings who ruled the kingdom. It was controlled by Sundiata in 1240 AD, and absorbed into the larger Mali Empire. (Mali Empire reached its peak of success under Mansa Musa around 1307.)
Geographically, the old Ghana is 500 miles north of the present Ghana, and occupied the area between Rivers Senegal and Niger.
Some inhabitants of present Ghana had ancestors linked with the medieval Ghana. This can be traced down to the Mande and Voltaic peoeple of Northern Ghana–Mamprussi, Dagomba and the Gonja.
Anecdotal evidence connected the Akans to this great Empire. The evidence lies in names like Danso shared by the Akans of present Ghana and Mandikas of Senegal/Gambia who have strong links with the Empire.line.png

Who doesn’t love a great market? Ghana is full of them. No matter what city you visit — from Accra to Kumasi to The Volta Region and beyond — you’ll be able to peruse the creations of locals (which is also great for those seeking to travel responsibly and put money directly back into the local economy). Popular market items include all-natural peanut butter (you’ll usually be able to taste a free sample), body bead belts, wood carvings, folklore-inspired paintings, local fruits and handmade jewelry. Some top market suggestions include Kumasi Market, The Accra Green Market, Osu Night Market and Makola Market. Moreover, Accra’s Center For National Culture is full of handicrafts at inexpensive and negotiable prices.SLINE 2.png

VERY Nice! Now you are making more money than i am! Good job! These are the types of posts which will make you $100s of dollars when you simply have more followers! if you keep adding followers and try posting a post like this again you will and up with $100s of dollars!

@sweetsssj is wise to support such a rising star!

I also must say good job using @booster that si a great tool and will help you get your posts up to the top of steemit so they have an even better change of making it to the front page! I think this post deserves to even be seen by @thejohalfiles who I believe may want to give it a look because it matches the sort of vision I believe he has to hgelp hard working steemit users like yourself get inspiration top keep working hard and to encourage the earning of steem tokens all across your region

ghana can be and is becoming a real Hub for Steem

Steem and Bitcoin will go hand in hand.... steem is easier to use and has account protection and security, if steem gets hacked you wil get your steemit account back, and if you keep your steem in steempower you can prevent a hacker from taking liquid steem, so steem will become used as the bank by people around the world because you dont need to be so paranoid like you do with Bitcoin!

But we need bitcoin to continue its growth in Ghana so people will know they can usetgir steem! I think you should go to your local money changers currency exchangers and ask if they can start accepting Bitcoin, show they how they can charge a 5 or 10 % fee on all bitcoin <-> cash trades
https://coinatmradar.com/bitcoin-atm-near-me/

Here is the BTC ATm COmpany from europe that makes the BTC ATms that also have Altcoins like Steem on them!

https://www.generalbytes.com/

You and @tj4real and @samest and @richforever and @kwakumax should get a BTC ATM for your area.. use it for yourselves and others around you to exchange both bitcoin and steem for local currency...

$3000 for the BTC ATm and it can have STEEm and other altcoins sooo awesome right?? You can get steem to help u raise the money by simply Upvoting your Post you can make ABout this! Imagine steemit helping to pay for you to order your own BTC ATM machine just from upvotes .... and from just Whale upvotes you will be able to afford a BTC ATM and you can help pay back the steemit community by using profits for hiring new employees etc and simply showing progress

the whales here can alleviate poverty with their upvotes and helping people in developing world create content for stem tokens is such an inspiring tool for humanity

I am planning on mentioning your excellent work in my talk at steemfest, It is a tribute to all of your dedication and hard work in a hope of attracting more attention to the promo-steem tag. I hope you concur and don't mind me using your work as a case study. Please let me know if this is not ok for you.

Am OK with it, I thank you very much

LOL @doodlebear, Ghana as a name have a history which is quite amazing, formally was in the Mali Empire, will elaborate more of it in my next post. Wagadugu sounds nice though.
