Hello respected steemitians, Today I am going to share some information about the city I live in. Yes, it is Dhaka, Our Dhaka. As a dweller of Dhaka city I will say that our Dhaka is beautiful. Now I am going to share some points about Dhaka which will let you know how Dhaka actually is and for which things Dhaka is famous for. 
• Mosques: You walk in any direction, anywhere for five minutes, it is pretty much guaranteed you are going to find a mosque. Most of them do not look decent- like you are used to see in photos- but they are immaculately clean and all of them have quite a decent gathering on Fridays.
• Traffic: Insane amount of people naturally brings insane amount of traffic. And Dhaka is probably one of the handfuls of megacities (a city with around 20 mil people should be known as megacity in my opinion) that do not have any shuttle train or subways. On a busy day, it can take two hours to travel ten kilometers- easily. Recently Dhaka is also called as city of traffic jam.

• People: Hundreds of thousands of people walking, talking, going somewhere every minute of the day. If someone wants to know how a crowd looks like, he or she should once visit Farm gate over bridge on a weekday afternoon.
• Rickshaws: My most used mode of transport in Dhaka. Granted, it is not a good view to see someone pulling you around the city and it seems inhumane as Dhaka is hot and humid- but there is no denying that this is the best way to roam around the city.
• Broken traffic lights: Almost all the traffic lights you will find here are somewhat broken. That's why we need a lot, literally a lot of traffic police here. They substitute as traffic lights, and are quite decent at it.
• Wires and cables: Look up, and voila! Millions of meters of wires everywhere hanging around. Telephone wires, electric wires, internet cables, satellite cables, you name it.
• Banners and posters: There are a lot of posters and banners. Most of them are from different political parties and are vividly colorful, weirdly designed and more weirdly written. Also, roadside ads- millions of them.
