So you want to know... The GOOD? The BAD? And the UGLY?
We have been Rving FULL TIME now for over a year! And we can honestly say that we still love it as much today as we did when we first started! If that gives you any hope. Have you thought about it? So many people we have come in contact with "WISH" they were doing what we were doing...and I would have to say, that's what separates us from so many people. We are a family of "Do-ers!" When we want to do something we set our minds to...we tackle it!
So, now here we are! So many people wishing they were doing the same and so many people thinking we are "out of our minds" or just "crazy"!
This morning, we made a video to get ready for YouTube about the Pros & Cons of Rving!
Jason-(The Dad/Driver/AKA-'MacGyver' (cause he can fix anything))
"I LOVE RVing! Always visiting new places and seeing such remarkable beauty! I would have to say that "Moving Days" can get a bit expensive. At one point we were moving 2x/Week cause we had to with RV parks being so full! That would be a $200 for the week just in gas! And...I would have to say the mosquitos! Now we are down in Mexico, where it is tropical, and they are always biting! Canada was even worse in JULY! One night we stayed up killing 500 mosquitos! We finally blocked every hole and all slept in one room just to catch about 3-hours of shut eye so we could move from that RV park!"

"I am addicted to traveling! I have a serious problem of not being able to settle because I just LOVE to see as much as I can in this life! RVing is perfect for me cause we get to see SO MANY PLACES and yet every night we get to come home and sleep in our OWN cozy bed! Hmmm...Cons...dishes! I joke we have a a "one butt" kitchen!
Because it is so small...which also means that because it is small, it can build up with dishes quickly! Hand washing is no problem, but sometimes it would be nice to have a break, but you can't! It's just easier to wash, dry and put right back away!"

"What I love most about RVing is coming across SO many new things! New animals, new bugs, hiking, snorkeling, exploring...it's all new and so fun to learn the differences in each climate! What I wish was better was to have more kid friends! We meet lots of people, but not all of them are kids!"

"I just LOVE the RV! I love I get to climb a ladder to go to my room every night. I think RV's are SO neat. They have everything you need! What I DON'T like are any types of bugs! And Mexico has some bug ones too!"
So there you have it! It's so neat to hear everybody's differences!
Now for the UGLY!
I would have to say that there really isn't an "UGLY". It's really all about your approach and being PREPARED! Probably one of the most frustrating of things can be...
-When the Sewage Pipes comes off and gets BLACK TANK "stuff" all over you!
-When something breaks and you have no cell phone signal to get it fixed or find a store!
-Sometimes a "funky" smell can loom out from the bathroom! (Especially on "moving" days)
-Google Maps being incorrect and having to turn around in a BIG trailer down a tiny road!
-The ROUGH Roads in MEXICO...and breaking a axle bracket!!???
But, again, we understand "THINGS HAPPEN!" And because they do, we don't stop our day because of them anymore! We laugh and move on!

There are definitely pros and cons with the full time RVing life. But the freedom and adventure is addictive and I have to say that we love it too after over two years living full time in an RV.
I am SO SO happy to hear you are loving it! It breaks my heart when I hear people have to stop...I am not sure when we will ever stop! Love this life!
