Batam is a Region in West Java Province. Batam is known as an industrial city, Batam has many exotic and amazing beach resorts.
This beach is still very traditional and still quiet, want to enjoy the natural atmosphere then come to this beach. Interestingly, Nongsa Beach is very close to the southern coast of Singapore, even so close it takes only half an hour using a motor boat to go to the southern coast of Singapore. Because the distance is very close then the visitors can see directly View Country Singapore and Malaysia State is located right opposite Nongsa Beach. At night a beautiful View from Singapore State adds to this Nongsa Beach exotica.
This beach resort area is located in Sambu Village, East Batam District, Batam City, Riau Islands, Indonesia. To arrive at Nongsa Beach, tourists can use taxis that 'roam' around the city of Batam. By taxi, tourists need more or less 40 minutes with the rate Rp75.000, - from the center of Batam (November 2008). When from Hang Nadim Airport, Batam City, more or less will take 25 minutes by car or motorbike rental.
