Pichit is well known to Thai people as the birthplace of legends and myths, “Krai Thong”.
“Bueng Si Fai” is the home to the giant Chalawan crocodile which is the main character of the “Krai Thong”.
There is a sculpture of the giant Chalawan with his large open mouth which looks awesome.
Besides, you will see other small sculptures of the crocodiles in many corners.
Bueng Si Fai is the 3th largest natural freshwater lake in Thailand which is located not far from Pichit city.
The scenery is beautiful and shady. It’s fertile with freshwater animals and many kinds of birds.
If you visit Pichit, you must not miss checking in at Bueng Si Fai. It will not disappoint you.
