Chiang Rai International Art Museum

If you love arts, I would recommend you to visit Chiang Rai International Art Museum which is situated in Chiang Rai province, in the North of Thailand.

Chiang Rai International Art Museum has 2 main white and black buildings with rectangular shapes and a triangular glass pyramid on the top.

They have simple and contemporary designs, but look fascinating and outstanding.

If you stand on the glass pyramid area, you can see the view of the landscape of Chiang Rai city in 360 degrees.

By visiting this museum, you can touch and experience the charm of local culture, history and beliefs through works of art of the local people in various forms both indoor and outdoor.

For example…..

Wallpaper work and sculptures from Lanna.

Other amazing arts.....

The outdoor sculpture which uses bamboo structures creates awesome large-scale art.

The sculpture garden pavilion is used to display the work of local artists and sculptors. It was built with old logs which was inspired by northern folk architecture combining with contemporary design shapes.

It’s an open space that allows natural light which becomes an important component of the pavilion.

The contemporary sculptures can reflect the identity of various communities in the province.

I can say that Chiang Rai International Art Museum is worth a visit, especially if you are one of the arts lovers.
