I think no one wants to get close to any prisons. Me, too. But, Kook Khao Ra Kam is different.
It’s an interesting (temporary) prison. It's a place for career training for prisoners who have good behaviors.
We can say that it’s one of the beautiful agricultural tourist destinations in Thailand. It’s located in Trad province, in the eastern part.
Kook means prison
Khao means mountain
Ra Kam is the name of the mountain (Name “Ra Kam” is came from the famous fruit of this province. It’s similar to “Salacca”, but much sourer than Salacca.)
Kook Khao Ra Kam is unique and not like other prisons. The surrounding area is beautiful with greenery and a wonderful lake view and mountains view.
These can attract people to visit Kook Khao Ra Kam.
