Refer to my previous post, Phra Pathom Chedi is the first chedi built in Thailand. (Pathom means original, primitive)
If you visit Phra Pathom Chedi, you must not miss going to worship Phra Ruang Rojanarit which is enshrined in front of the Viharn within the same area of Phra Pathom Chedi.
Phra Ruang Rojanarit is famous. The Buddha statue is magnificent in Sukhothai art. It’s immense and stands on the base brass metal with an upside-down lotus pattern.
Phra Sila Khao is another sacred Buddha statue that many people go to worship if visiting Phra Pathom Chedi. (Sila means stone, Khao means white)
The Buddha statue is made of white stone. It is in the posture of sitting and the feet are resting on a lotus pedestal.
They normally worship these Buddha statues with gorgeous garlands.
Actually, there are many other interesting things which surround Phra Pathom Chedi.

Chaopho Prasat Thong Shrine
It is located underground. It’s a Chinese shrine, as you can see the golden letters of the shrine's name in the Thai language on the red sign which is the lucky color of Chinese people.
(unfortunately, I didn’t go down stairs due to the short time of the visit.)
Since Phra Pathom Chedi is situated in an old temple, the area is shady with large trees.
You can study the history of Phra Pathom Chedi from the exhibition in the tent which is decorated with gorgeous colorful fresh and artificial flowers.
As you can see, everything in this temple is worth capturing impressive photos.
