Apart from historical sites, you will also find beautiful sculptures at many spots in the Ancient City.
Each group of the sculptures is relevant to Thai history as well as Thai literature.
Firstly, you will see the monument of the elephant duel between our ancient King and Myanmar King. It’s one of the most important events in our history that showed the bravery of our King.
This is valuable, especially if you are the ones who love to study Thai history.
Most Thai literature is enjoyable and many characters are incredible.
It’s so exciting to see them get out from the books and come alive amid the gorgeous ponds and wonderful gardens in the Ancient City.
One of my favorite literature is Ramayana and Hanuman, who is a monkey with white body and has supernatural powers, is my favorite character.
These sculptures are awesome and make the scenery of the ponds and the gardens look more charming.
What a lovely time to be outdoors in the Ancient City admiring these things…
