Hey Travel Readers and Bloggers

Firstly let me apologise for the lack of blogs recently , 2020 just hasn’t been the year for travelling apart from ( Our trip to Amsterdam- blog already done! and Cornwall- blog pending )
But that shouldn’t mean I give up on writing about my other years of adventures ! Just makes me want to explore even more but I’ve had a word with myself and I’m back on it !

Let me give you a little re cap !
I headed out to Australia in 2013 to visit my sister and travel ! The list of places I’m going to take you through are on my Canada blog !!

I’m gutted to say but I won’t be doing day to day run through like my other blogs of my 3 months in Oz ! As it’s been a few years and I can’t remember! so I’m going to give you the top 10s!

Starting with Perth of course !

As I said I first went in 2013 but I then revisited just Perth in 2018 (these will be photos from both times- once in February Australia’s Summer once in July ! Australia’s Winter haha not quite as cold as ours but it does get chilly at night time !!

TOP 10

Kings Park Botanical Gardens

The craziest thing about these gardens are - their are situated basically in the middle of the city just high up so the skyscraper view is incredible. It’s so beautiful , the views, bridges, gardens, fountains and the steps !!

Perth City Centre, The Bell Tower and Lots More

Perth is an awesome city ! With an fantistic skyline. Elizabeth Quay is fairly new! As it was there in 2018 when I went back !!
The river that runs along the middle of the city with Perth Zoo being on the south side is a good spot for dolphin watching :)
Amazing walks, places to grab a drink, gelato or food!
The town centre is full of shops with little ironic old English streets but also modern brass kangaroos near the gardens and The bell tower

Let me show you around ...

Wildlife Parks

In Perth the wildlife parks are amazing! So many little sanctuary’s for the animals just to jump mainly! Kangaroos around! Perth does have its own zoo in the city but the sanctuary’s are perfect for letting the animals run wild! They are really tame as you can see and they let you go right up to them! I wouldn’t touch them though

Il write down the names of all the ones I went too..

Perth Zoo
Penguin Island
Caversham Wildlife Park
And lots more ...

Maragret River

Oh I loved it here ! We only had an overnight stay but we literally did south of Perth road trip it was amazing.
One of my favourite parts of Margaret river was Lake Cave what a dream!
We paid for a tour and headed down the 300 odd steps to the entrance of the cave to wait for our guide to take us in.
The views were just incredible loved everything about it and the sight from the end of the cave was just amazing !! I won’t tell you what happens il let you find out! 2 more caves to visit too but our quick fire road trip didn’t allow us to see them all! The little villages and vineyards were beautiful and as it was February it was pretty hot too!

Quinns Shack

Quinn’s shack is a really cute little coffee shop looking out to Quinn’s beach in Clarkson! I love it there, log fire for the winter and outside sitting for the summer or get a take away and head to the beach. Small family run business with local people’s art and crafts in the shop too! Amazing coffee and carrot cake!!!

Hillarys

Hillary’s is a cute harbour made up of shops, restaurants and a homemade beach 🏖 safe for the little ones! Does the best hot chocolate and frozen yoghurt! I could spend all day wandering there - you can get buses from the suburbs straight to there. Oh and lots of boats of course it’s just lovely! The restaurants are really high end too and they do lots of events too.

Before I say Til next time...

I’ve got to show you some sunsets! Honestly I think Western Australia is the most stunning place to watch the sunset - we used to get in the car nearly every night after dinner race down to the beach and watch it go completely into the water - it was magical
