This island is found in Central Visayas Region in the Philippines and it is known for the mysterious island for witchcraft and wizardry. Not so long ago, this tiny island has rumoured for its mangkukulam (healers) who brew traditional ointments in modern times and there trending ointment is the gayuma (love potion). But these days Siquijor's best-selling healing practice is cocktail and beer in a beach bed in front of a beautiful and affordable beach.
Attractions include waterfalls, diving, caves and forest walks. Just about everywhere on Siquijor is great for snorkelling and free diving.
Siquijor Island or also known as Mystical Island is an ideal place for us. It is blessed with scenic and beautiful natural attractions and Old Archaic Spanish churches. As I landed at the port, I already fell in love with its blue water and there unspoiled environment while the coastline is mostly fine white sand beaches. You can experience the island tour in just one daytime and you can rent a motorcycle for a day to roam around the island.
