Hey there my Steemit friends! The center of Interpretation is one of the most popular places to visit on San Cristobal Island. Not only is there no entry free, it's just on the edge of town leading toward the popular Carola Beach, "Playa Carola" in Spanish.
One thing that I really enjoyed about this museum of the Galapagos Islands is that it's built right into one of the nicest walkways in the Galapagos; which is at least a kilometer long, winding around this very unique landscape. It takes you to this beach I mentioned as well as La Tijiritas Cliff that looks out over Charles Darwin Cove, a popular snorkeling spot frequented by sea turtles and sea lions.
When I talk about it being built into the walkway, you literally have to walk through the museum to get to the other side. Well, technically there is a small path that goes around the side of the building, but the main path brings you right through it! The last photo is of the natural landscape outside of the building. Now let's have another look at some more exhibits and see what we can learn!
