Eucalyptus trees at the beach. Long Beach California. I really love this big tree shading the stairs going down the bluff to the beach. The two brown buildings on the left are the Long Beach Art Museum. There's a nice restaurant in between the buildings there with umbrellas and a fountain. I took these yesterday so they were closed (monday).

I confess i'm not at all happy with what they are doing here with the bluff and beach below. It's all dust and dirt for the most part and they don't water anything or put in new plants or trees. It's pretty sad seeing the parched bluff and that huge patch of dirt at the bottom of the stairs. It could be made into a beautiful park
You would think they would want some ground cover or something to hold the hill!
