Holiday is coming, and also the turn of the year, where we can get holiday with our friends, families, and some one who special. Through this is my first post on trips.teem. I want to share my traveling stories while visiting the "Twin Pagoda" in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan.
You must visit this place, while traveling in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan. The location is easy to reach, if you are from Taipei you can just take the MRT in the direction of Zouying MRT Station (R16). After arriving, you go directly to Exit 2, and take the R51 bus to this location. We only need 15 minutes to rich on this place. In Taiwan's transportation is comfortable.
In this place, you will see two pagodas, both of which are seven stories high, with yellow walls, with red pillars. Looks sturdy and majestic.
In front of a pagoda there is a large Dragon statue, and this is what is called "Dragon Pagoda", while the one with a large Tiger statue is called "Tiger Pagoda".
The story said, if visitors enter from the door of the dragon's mouth, and out of the mouth of the tiger will get luck and blessings. Like longevity, cheap fortune, and get a match
In addition there are also coin predictions. By entering NT $ 10 (equivalent K 4), the coin machine will issue a piece of paper, which contains the fate of someone in the future. Everyone has different writings. But it is also recommended before entering a coin, the requester must pray first.
The pagoda was built in 1976. The building represents 24 of the most obedient Tingkok sons. In the Pagoda there are many teachings that encourage every child to be devoted to the mother, to be kind to others. There are also some descriptions, what if someone who is evil, when born again. They will be born as animals that people don't like. The point is all religions teach goodness.
