How Do I Surf the Blockchain?

For this blockchain brain teaser, coders (amateur to expert) will be tasked with drawing data from a Steem API and visualizing it in a creative way. There are lots of API's to draw from to get a pulse (extract data) from the Steem blockchain including Steemit's API located right here -https://api.steemit.com

Contest

For this special week-long exercise you will be tasked with extracting data and making sense of the madness! You can organize it in a spreadsheet, or visualize it in a data-powered diagram. As an example, take a look at @arcange's Steem SQL, where you can query the blockchain for different kinds of operations and attributes and load them into an excel spreadsheet.

To get some creative ideas flowing - here are some example operations and attributes that might be interesting to visualize: upvote patterns, comments, tags, timestamps, word counts, payouts, resteems, reputation, and flags.
