Story
She gave me that mesmerizing smile each time I looked at her.
She was across the room, about ten paces from me. Her companion appeared to be in a trance; speechless and fixated on her. But all she did was look at me. I couldn’t figure why nor could I resist her.
I gave in. I started towards her with a resolute stride before someone else did. Her companion noticed and a confrontation was inevitable.
But as I neared, her companion smiled and walked away. Surprisingly, now she was all mine.
“Mona Lisa, how many more will you slay?”
