Lately, I have been reading posts about Ulog. Out of curiosity, I tried reading these posts and one particular Ulog caught my interest. It was the post of @smaeunabs. As I read through her words, I felt a lot closer to her as I have not known her for a long time. After reading, I posted a reply on that post and I was surprised when @surpassinggoogle replied:
I immediately looked into his account and read the details about Ulogs. On that instant,I fell in love with it. I love how the idea behind it is to unmask our real selves, to show the inner parts of us, parts we have not shared to most people. I got ecstatic and excited in making a Ulog myself. But one particular question ran through my mind and happily he provided the answers on his post :
What can I share?
Ulogs are about “You”. It is about the experiences in life that shaped us. The moments that constitute the “You” , it may be your daily activities, your thoughts of the day, the things you want to share but have no one there to listen. Don’t worry because now, the readers will be the one listening to you. There is no hiding, there is no shyness, all you have to do is show and bring the real “You”.
I am a sentimental person, I won’t deny that. I keep pieces of the past to bring to the future. I keep roses given to me, tuck them inside books. I keep letters given to me in a box for future. I keep pieces of things that remind me of who and what I am at the present to remind me in the future. Ulog is a perfect avenue for me to help me recall who am I in the future days, the entries will remind me of my true self in the moment.

Join me as I unmask my real self and share the sides I haven’t shared before. In my Ulog entries, I want you to know me, and I also want to know you so I encourage you to also post entries about your day, what makes you happy, what makes you sad, what happened to your day, what new activities did you encounter today, everything! I am so excited for this, and I hope you are too. Let as all become ullogers!See you on my first entry!

This is the first I have red about ulogs. I like the concept. As I have moved along with steemit I naturally found myself being open as to who I am and sharing that with my followers.
I try to encourage some newcomers who ask me for assistance and guidance to engage their followers and potential followers. That to me is part of communicating with others, whether in person or through our blogs.
Being a counselor professionally it all came naturally to me. As I have thought about it I see that it is getting to know each other on this platform, engaging our followers, and sharing our being human beings.

I agree. I personally think that ulogs enable us to understand ourselves more and others as well. It will help us learn about the people here in the platform. Human as we are, we focus on what we earn here in steemit but I guess the prize doesn't only come with monetary rewards but the experience of sharing a part of us to others.

Thank you so much. Steemit is a good avenue to learn from one another. Others may think people from all over the world are different from one another. Ulogs will help us realize that we are very much alike.
My sentiments exactly. I have this feeling since first starting here that when we eliminate government biases and people communicate directly with each other we find out just what you wrote...we are very much alike. And, I think we have barely touched the "tip of the iceberg" in the potential here.
