Yes, I guess you read the heading so you know what this is about.
My name is Kamal, in case you don't know me already. It has been a short but interesting time for me on this platform and you wouldn't be wrong if you called it Amazing.
The first time I heard of Steemit was from a friend @bhosa. I was skeptical cos this was from a guy that had a track record of dealing in everything Ponzi and Crypto, both the good, the bad, and the ugly. ( if you know you know).
I hesitated for a little while but then I joined, and now, I can say that this is one of the good ones, if not the best. It's not just a crypto community, it is much more than that. It's a community of different and unique individuals providing quality contents for one another.
They say you don't test new waters with both feet but I can assure you that steemit is really worth going against that saying for
Yeah, I'm not your typical emotional "ever since I joined this" kind of person but I had to this, cos it's only right I acknowledge some important progress that steemit has helped me make.
See, anytime I sit down and start to count everything Steemit has done for me I just want to start crying (OK that's a joke, so just laugh a little and continue).
Now on a more serious note, the first success I have achieved ever since I joined steemit has been overcoming procrastination to a large extent. I believe nothing kills a writer more than procrastination, and yes, I'm so good at it that I could probably be the world's best procrastinator. But for a while now I have been getting things done at the right time and thanks to the motivativation I get when I Iog onto the platform daily.
It's incredible what you could achieve with your spare time on steemit.
Steemit has made me believe that the social media can be a tool of change again. Steemit has become the game changer not for me alone but for all steamians out there.
Save for birthday notifications I would have closed my Facebook account because steemit is teaching me that life is too short to waste on things that don't add value to you (especially some money to go with it).
I have also made new friends here, incredible people, creative people, people that wake up in the morning and take a picture of their butt and tell you to upvote it.
It has been fun too, so many break out writers and poets and ranters and photographers and people that just search all the tags looking for contests to join. @daisy. Believe me it has been great.
It's becoming something I call a Steemfamily, and what's the use of a family without a little craziness.
Steemit has also taught me to be patient.
Yes after my first post, making steem dollars has not been very easy but I'm now learning that things take a little time.
You know that the patient dog eats the fatest bone, so I'm just laying quite now waiting for when to pounce and make a killing- steem dollar wise.
Alex shearer once said that.

Yes, time can turn your now almost empty steem wallet into a bag of steem dollars. Why not type Amen and claim your blessings.
Finally I am becoming knowledgeable on Cryptocurrency. Thanks to Steemit, cos really, I don't know what I would have told my kids I was doing when others where trading crypto and building a great community.
It is what it is. And Yes yes yes, Steemit has helped me make some some changes in my life in a short while. And I know it will soon start bettering the financial benefits too.
