The NODE BLADE project is an HTML template compiler that facilitates the process of creating web templates. The language syntax of Blade is very similar to Jade's. Jade is an awesome templating language, and if you are already familiar with it. The project owner requested the collaboration to create a logo for his project, this he did by means of a Issues in github. In the search for projects to contribute as a designer I found NODE BLADE.
I get in touch with the owner of the project, I offer my services as a designer, I investigate the functions and the name of the project and quickly a good idea is born. BLADE is a character in a vampire movie that the project owner mentions many times in his README file since I use it as inspiration for his project. NODE is a point that we can find in different functions of electronics, programming etc so I inspire my design in representing a NODE and a BLADE.
Investigating BLADE a bit online I get that uses a lethal weapons for knife-shaped vanpiros that have a very particular style so I use them in my design and in this way I express BLADE in the design, at the same time I convert blades in a NODE when giving a circular shape, the result was really fascinating and the owner of the project loved it.
Once the design was done, I presented it to the project owner to receive his impressions, which were positive when he accepted the design and started using it.

I think typeface looks weak when compare with the logo-mark. So, it can be better if you made the typeface more thicker on the logo-type version. Also, logo-mark should be smaller.
You can clearly specify the colors of gradient.
