Climb on this Story.jpg

I went on a day of climbing with my friends and took the opportunity to make this small video, I didn't film myself because I can't take good shots while at the same time I climb a rock of course.

This video was filmed in a climbing site called Sitio do Rod in Lagoa Santa - MG Brazil

Couldn't decide whether I found the video soothing or adrenaline provoking. Only started climbing in indoor walls from a friend's invite and your climbs seem a lot more fun. It was kind of relaxing to watch the climbing being done with the choice of music. Great work here :D

Thanks! I know what you mean, it's a relaxing video of something very adrenalin provoking.

Great film of an amazing climb! Nicely done! And congrats on the @curie vote! One question. I would be terrified of reaching up to grab a hold of one of those rock ledges and finding a big old snake or something laying there. Does that ever happen?

Hi, thanks! Hahahaha, me too I am terrified of that possibility, I thought of that while climbing, but I think there is just a small probability that it would happen.

I think I'd be hammering away on the rocks before I reached up...or let someone else go first! 😁 Maybe you could send a drone up to look things over first!!

Hey Loic, I enjoyed watching your climbing, must be hard to find a correct edge of rock to hold on it. I loved the way how camera filmed you, first from top, then swinging at the back at your level then almost diving into the cave. Was it a drone camera, that is only thing I can think of. That is a great exercise for body and soul, my respect for your skills :)

Thank you, but that's not me climbing, it's a friend of mine, I just filmed them with my Drone Mavic Pro. After filming I climbed too of course. I don't have much experience of climbing so for me it was difficult to find the right edge.

You have a great strong in your body because you need control to carry and climb your body between the rocks.

Yes, indeed.

You have very good control of your drone. Steady hands.

The rocks already have the hooks so I suppose those have been purposely prepared for rock climbing, is it? How high is the summit of those rocks?

Thank You! sometimes I tremble my fingers but just when I am stressed out hahaha.
Yes, the rocks are made for climbing and there are levels of difficulty of each path. The ones that we climbed where more or less 15 meters I think.

Then do not shoot when you're stressed out. 😃

I think 15-meter high is a fair climb. Is that the highest level of difficulty or are there more?

Hahahah, yea I should not shoot when I am stressed out =)!
The level of difficulty is not always the highest climb, of course there is resistance of strength, but difficulty its not measured by it's hight.

I see. I know what you are saying about the difficulty. I just realized it now that the height is not proportional to the steepness or how dangerous the rocks are.

How often do you do rock climbing?

Yes. Not often I must say, this was just a day with friends that like to climb a lot.

It's good to have such adventure and exercise once in a while.

That's one way of getting your daily exercise in but i think that i might just stick with the gym for the time being. Looks amazing out there and a proper challenge to get through. Nice video.

Thank you! Yea it's not something to do every day, me I think I did my exercise of the month haha.

Nuuuuu! Esse video ficou doido!!

howdy from Texas loic.ronsse! wow that looks very exhausting to me, do you guys lift weights and things to be strong enough to do that type of climbing?
and you used a drone for the overhead filming?

Hi, I find really amazing that people form all over the world watches this video! =)
Yes my friend, I used only my Mavic Pro Drone to film this video, but no I don't lift weights hahaha, that's why I got very tired after climbing.

oh ok, no weight lifting..very good lol. well the video was very smooth and very good quality!

Those are some unbelievable rock formations. Love the way you have captured the action from so many interesting angles. Did it take forever to edit the video? Anyway it came out very good.

Thanks you very much @headchange! No it was an easy video for me, I edit it in 4 hours, this video was more of a freestyle video where I didn't plan it at all. But I am glad you appreciated.

Very nice climbing spot. I have some indoor experience as well, but like @adamada said, this looks way more fun ;D

Thanks, it really is!

Nice video. It looks really difficult to climb there!

Thanks, the first climb it really is!

Thank you, I am much grateful!

I loved the video, climbing is always a joy. Using a drone to film it gives it so much more perspective and those looked like some awesome climbs. You seem to be quite an accomplished climber, very cool and steady as you go never going too fast but methodically plotting your path. It was a joy to watch..

Thank you @coinsandchains! But that's not me climbing =). I can't climb and film at the same time, but I am glad to hear that you like it.

lol, I must have missed that part of the video, You did well with the videos and the drone. lol.
