Hello everyone, today we are going to talk about one problem I see on Steemit, spammers. People who pretend to be nice in the comment section just to get their comment liked in a hope that they earn more money.
Sadly on the internet there will allways be people who spam.

Yeah, it totally sucks to be on social media and have everyone being nice. Those people are ruining everything!
You don´t get the point I am trying to make, I have no problem with people being nice, I have a problem with people who are pretending that they are nice with the pretty much the same comment on every post on Steemit "wow very nice" That is not insightful, you did not read anything from this article you are just spamming in a hope to get your comment liked. I have no problem at all with people being nice. If you watch the video you will see what I am talking about :)
I know I was just being a dick. I saw someone use a bot that was (at)miti that comes and downvotes those people if they bother you. I just assume they are third world people who don't speak English or whatever and that is the only way they can make money "thanks for shearing" makes me laugh at this point.

I used to kinda be that guy, wouldn't be spamming but sometimes overly nice. I've given it up for a more 'lax vibe, its annoying when everyone talks like a robot.

Yeah it wouldn't be AS annoying if it was at least somewhat coherent spam.
Makes me rip my hair out when I see a comment saying "Nice post, great read! I followed so you follow me" but it's on dtube video and they didn't even upvote.
I having got the pleasure yet of seeing the spammers yet! But hey I only started last night messing around with DTube lol. Thanks for the heads up on some of these's people's ploys! Now I'll know what to look out for!
I think most people can see past the fakeness, and it seems to me so far (new to the platform that I am) that these posts don't get upvoted anyway
They don´t but sadly there are handful of comment like that on a lot of posts.

But at they end of day this is what everybody wants on steem that is money. So why is it like being nice comes as a surprise. All are just trying to give their best shot
Regardless of whether you're on Steemit for the money or simply for enjoyment, the approach should basically be the same: genuine and honest. I, for one, cannot get myself to comment on a post that is outside my range of interest, such as music or sports or gaming. And if it is of interest to me, I will either upvote it, if I like it, or comment on it, if I feel I've got something to say, or both, if it seems fit. 😄 Without genuine participation your experience on Steemit is bound not to be a very pleasant one (no matter what your goals are). Well, there go my two cents.
And as for your video @edwinbeutti, wow, nice vid. 😉 I mean, seriously, it's ok. Although I think you've said pretty much everything by 2:00, my concentration kind of started dissipating after that. But I agree with the content. Although, personally, I don't find this kind of comments very annoying, they just don't contribute much to the content.
PS: This was actually going to be a reply to the video, not to one of the replies. Well, DTube seems to read the comments first and then decides where it would be most appropriate to publish them. 😏

It depends, like I said in the video, I have no problem at all with people being nice, but when they are spamming it without reading a blog or watching a vlog that makes me sad...
It is a platform where you can make money, true, but they would make much more if they left more insightful comments, they can still be nice but there is a difference with people being nice and people faking it in a hope to make few cents
Spamming is problem. But I really think nice people wont spam. All should have good intentions with eachother. I know that's very hard to find but there are people who are really willing here to help others

I was caught off guard and fell for some of these. I am cool with nice comments but I started realizing that they were not even watching my videos. That's just messed up. If there was tracking of minutes watched the stats would not make sense at all. People would have $50 plus and 20+ upvotes on a 5 minute video and in a lot of cases would probably not even have 10 minutes watched.
'Good video ha ha ha so funny very kind' that made me laugh out loud.
