My first impression was that she went to review Voice.com with the wrong set of premises, Voice is not about privacy and it is not about decentralisation.
It is about having real conversations without the drag and the noise that you usually get in Social Media
A few points that came to my mind when I was watching the videos.
A point was made that the KYC process won't help with getting rid of the bots, because you can buy stolen information.
Usually what you buy in the "dark web" is digital data (credit cards, passwords, account names...), not saying that you can't buy a whole KYC process, but is not as easy as you make it sound.
I think the bots presence will be anecdotal.
Their KYC is done by a trusted 3rd party (hooyu.com) with more than 20 years doing it. They will keep the data for 7 days, you will be very unlucky if they get hacked in that period.
Been bought up is not a concern, the contracts saying the they have to delete in 7 days are still binding.
Voice is a COMPANY, nothing to with decentralisation, the EOS blockchain is the one they might use, for the moment it is on a private blockchain.
On top of been able to verify that you are a real person, in the USA the KYC is required by the regulators, because you are getting paid for using Voice
Been anonymous is necessary in certain cases, but that is not Voice's mission, there are lots of social media options, if you want to say something that you thing will get you in trouble.
If you need privacy and anonymity, Voice is not the option.
30% of Twitts are done by boots, Facebook removed 3.2 BILLION accounts in 6 months, I think that fake accounts is a HUGE problem, specially when they are used for manipulate you in ways you don't understand.
You can buy clicks for your content and fool advertisers, imagine the premium a company is whiling to pay if they know that the clicks are done by real people!!.
On social media, you see what THEY want you to see, for make as much revenue from you as they can.
Voice will open source their feed algorithms and will PAY you instead of profit from your data.
Basically you complain about privacy and anonymity, when that is the very thing that Voice was build for get rid off.
