Despite the downvotes, I want to stay here. It will be difficult, since they always judge others and never their friends. We will always be the target of their destruction. Despite that, I want to stay on Hive. I've met and want to continue meeting beautiful people, posting and earning rewards that today, in the name of "freedom," are taken away from me..

Today I'm deciding to stay here because injustices will always be present. I don't want to disappear or leave, first because I've set out to earn the 365-day-of-posting badge, and second because I've grown fond of the network, and it's inevitable that I won't be here for an hour or two every day.

There are people with bad intentions, believing they are "doing good" while their contacts, or more powerful people do things much worse than "rewarding themselves with 2/3 dollars a day." As a child, I always thought about uploading things to YouTube, gameplays, tutorials, I even made a podcast talking about various topics, although it did not receive much support, I ended up leaving it due to a personal issue that hurt me, although we did it for much longer and my path took me elsewhere, I continued uploading League of Legends content, talks I attended at universities, movie reviews, publications that I voted for as a guest curator, some crypto things that are not very much to my understanding. I understand that the cycled publishing model is seen as bad, but those who make 50-word posts and a video earn a lot, but others like me who try hard (at least a little more, you are free to criticize my covers) do not even get 5% of what they are rewarded, and if we make a 50-word post and the video they would tell us that we are making a mistake... This leaves me free to say that friends and power will always be present in the "decentralized" system, so to speak, since the powerful did not even show up, where a small, or rather, tiny person like me does not even have the possibility to debate, just downvote and that's it.

The publications that I consider to be within their right to be downvoted:

I won't be doing this type of content anymore, but because I got downvoted all over... he's just not interested in the other content.

Now, those who I DON'T think are okay with me being downvoted:

In addition, there are comments that I explain a little more in the publication:

Despite this, though I don't say it out of anger, I'll stay here, perhaps to show others what's happening. Next:

I wrote the above when I started receiving downvotes. The following was a week after I asked him for an explanation daily, and it's proof that I tried to communicate in many ways, but my word had no power. Almost every day I sent him a message mentioning him, and he didn't reply, but he did (manually) downvote me.

I didn't send him many messages on his personal discord, but I did try some posts, but I didn't receive any responses either.

Below I leave another link of something that caught my attention

Although I don't want to make enemies here, because that destroys and doesn't build, I haven't received any responses to my quest to speak out. Again, I understand the downvotes on Rising Star's posts, but the others? They don't give explanations, but I should give one with the things I do? These same people who do this are the ones who call themselves libertarians, those who seek freedom, but only for themselves and their friends. Friends who publish a daily post repeating many words and their synonyms, and who receive a lot, but don't end up "doing anything online" (I won't snitch on anyone, because they know exactly who I'm talking about), as the free people want to tell us. If my Rising Star posts are considered wrong, I understand and correct it, but the others? Do they receive the same downvote for something in particular? They can take me as a farmer, but I've been involved in many things here on Hive, earning badges at https://hivebuzz.me/@ydaiznfts

  • I'm not an active user and I'm trying to promote the network with acquaintances, even family members, and yet I still get posts with downvotes?

I was also a guest curator more than once on @ecency where I learned the task of curator (I helped with the delivery of points in 2023 if I'm not mistaken, in collaboration with Ecency Help (where obviously they may or may not be in the internal fights that I have some knowledge about ecency points) but I participated like many other users for that reason that every month they change and give the possibility of learning something important for the network, although mostly there is a concentration of curators, who are in all places of power, leaving no room for others and occupying a role with which they end up gaining a lot by making friends and receiving votes from them. The vote is poorly constructed, and not to mention the downvote, where without retorting (referring to the null response of @themarkymark) they can destroy your account without explanation, but I reiterate, it is not attacking it, but wanting to give my point of view, which I do consider that Your downvote on Rising Star's posts is fine, but you have to be fair. I know you have money that I could never imagine, much less for my job and my university career, which is precarious, but I don't consider that to be a right to destroy.

I don't want to leave Hive under this pretext, because I spoke to someone (I'll keep his name to myself so as not to compromise him, but he represents an important position in Hive) who told me that if I leave because I'm not receiving rewards, I don't deserve to ask for help. That's the same person who writes 50 words and receives votes, without hearing a word from anyone in power. I answer him and invite him to leave all the rewards on the network, while others commit worse atrocities... I could go deeper into this topic, but the people there don't deserve to fall or be hurt by me or what I'm going through. I'm not a police officer, much less a police officer of power.

Here are some examples in which my activity in Hive is more than just publications (copy-paste) as you could call it, in ecency help, wanting to get the Hive Buzz badge, doing a contest to deliver ecency points, point of view of books I read (I'll leave you an example, although I published more and which ones I read in 2024/2023), my presentation (which, if I'm not mistaken, I have 2, one without showing my face, and another showing it, but I couldn't find it)

I even have my own posts, showing me and my kittens, and some things that happened to me in my daily life, introducing my beautiful babies, showing my Hive painting that I had made, when my motorcycle was stolen, when I separated from my former partner, or when I witnessed a march against some measures of the current government (post-political)

And other posts, from a mental health community I wanted to build, or the podcast I told you about in previous lines, or even the super guide post I made back in the day, detailing every single thing about the Rising Star game.

Where I'm going with this is that I didn't just do a daily post on Rising Star

Other publications apart from those of Rising Star (which after the @stickupboys debate) began to attack the community, which at the time brought so many users (including me) but whose proposal was not completed BUT that of @hashkings which since August 2023 has no movements other than the withdrawal to binance, or this other account HK curation and @ihavethedream who also spends their time withdrawing. Why? They would give an explanation if there is one, but there are many intentions behind each action that is committed (helping friends, distributing among a few) and what ended up happening to HK? (Note, here I don't mean to say that I'm against the Hashking project, I played it practically at all, and I never had any problems nor do I want to have any with them, I don't know if they are active elsewhere, but here there is a differentiation as to why they accept some and not others.

The proposals of HK: https://peakd.com/proposals/215
Post: https://peakd.com/hashkings/@hashkings/dhf-proposal-to-a-solid-development-of-the-hk-ecosystem-part-2

image.png

hashking received $76,650 for the "new features" that were brought to the network with his game, while the game no longer has players, Rising Star is still standing, bringing new cards (NFTS) to bring users in, and his last account move was to take the money out of Hive. I don't judge him, but those who come to judge me as a "nobody" to call me that received 2/3 dollars for his publications and who take me as the worst of all ... the enemy of Hive, there are people who knew how to play and get away with it, and many Witnesses who are also curators have a cycle of senseless publications

Let's say then that what I do with the rising posts is wrong, I reiterate that the downvote that was given to me was automatic, therefore, to all the other posts, which I consider did not deserve, those Witnesses, curators, or friends of those who have many accounts and who "farm" as they tell me to my post where they do not add anything new, they put 2/3 images made with artificial intelligence and receive double or even triple what I do and they have been doing it for a long time.

For those curators and witnesses who can easily see your profile and how you earn HP by posting junk content, what's the difference between that content and my Rising Star content?

I clarify that I say this to show displeasure. I am completely unaware of what was intended with the proposal and where the money went. If someone can give me some explanation so I can change my mind, I would love to.

However, despite my presence on Hive, I receive downvotes without explanation (and I don't talk about them in the Rising Star posts), could it be for something... political?

https://ecency.com/hive-175836/@nupulse/new-release-down-the-rabbit-hole-by-winkandwoo-and-billy-korg-enes

This link takes you to a post with a photo of Free Palestine, to which I reiterate with a heart... does that comment deserve a downvote? If this platform is as decentralized as they claim, but the decisions (whether voted on or the rules chosen) are made by those with the most money... I wonder what freedom they're talking about.

I used ChatGPT-5 (which I managed to pay for) to do a quick analysis of the posts from these curators and witness, I gave him the text and asked him if he had repeated ideas, synonyms for words and to mark them for me, he quickly agreed with my idea from the beginning

I searched ChatGPT for downvotes and this was the result. What do you think?

  • 📌 The politics behind downvotes on Hive

Hive presents itself as a decentralized and democratic social network, but in practice, the Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) system concentrates a lot of power in the hands of "whales" (users with millions of HIVE Power). This creates a dilemma:

On the one hand, it prevents spam and abuse, because someone with a lot of power can cut inflated rewards.

But on the other, it feels too much like an oligarchy: a few have the ability to impose their judgment on the economic value of the entire community. (...) no matter how many small users support me, that one downvote can nullify them all. That's deeply unequal. Is that what the community wants?

Returning to the topic of my presence in communities and meeting other users:

@risingstargame : I was given the opportunity to be a support person on their Discord, and aside from creating tutorial posts, explanations, and helping out there, I spent a lot of time helping users with their questions. There came a point where my time wasn't enough, but my role persists, even though I'm rarely present. I helped several people with their questions, as many generous users do (I'm not saying I'm generous, just to be clear, I'm not the only one present, providing guidance). I always tried to build something, and this was thanks to the trust of those who trusted me, some of whom were mentioned here.

Another person we were in almost daily contact with at one point is @morenow, whom I asked for permission to mention. He's from the NFTGAME LATINO DISCORD community. I also helped organize some contests, helping out on their Discord. For the same reason (in parallel) with Rising Star, my time for this has evaporated due to my studies and my work in schools. You can ask him if you have any complaints about me beyond the time I don't dedicate to your ideas and projects.

I've already talked about ecency, but I've also collaborated with @melinda010100 on many things. She could tell you what kind of user I am. Who in their moments where they needed my help I was there, and I cooperated, learning and enjoying what for me was something new, a "web 3" in which I enthusiastically gave a lot of my time, and I don't say this so they can say (poor me, not at all), but to show that what I did I did with my heart, while I met people and it was crazy to talk and coordinate award ceremonies with someone who lives far away, you can take the above as mockery, since on any network you can talk to other countries, but I mean to be present and have an identity here, which I believe I have and today it is being destroyed by someone who does not explain his motive to me, if it is political, let's debate, but that you want to destroy me for how I think says more about you than about me.

I hope people understand why I’m writing this and don’t take it the wrong way. It’s not about asking for VOTING FOR ME, but about asking to stop DOWNVOTING my posts.

I did all this to get the downvote removed. I won't be making any more posts like this about Rising Star, but my other posts don't deserve the downvotes. Ultimately, I want to stay here and continue growing at Hive. Cheers.

You always have my support, my friend. You have answered my questions, when I had them, about Rising Star and have always volunteered your time everytime I asked for help on a project.
I appreciate you very much. ❤️

Thank you, my friend, for the comment; it helps a lot in times of injustice.

Well, this is hard to swallow. Whether they're right or wrong, the social network of freedom of speech depends exclusively on one person's judgment, and he decides what you can say or post. So much community, witnesses, curators, for what? If the opinions of 1,000 people are diluted in a single downvote from Marky. And tomorrow, who will be deciding what to say? Today Marky pursues farming, but tomorrow anyone else can pursue ideas. This should appear in the white paper if exists.

We delude ourselves into thinking that this is decentralized, HIVE is in the hands of an oligarchy.

This level of inflexibility killed BTS (Bitshares). I hope the pattern doesn't repeat itself.

I'd love to talk to him and hear his perspective, but for some reason he doesn't want to engage in dialogue. I hope this is resolved; if not, I wouldn't be able to invite anyone else to Hive, since "freedom" here is under attack.

That's crystal clear, what the f**!k think this people are users looking for in HIVE, obviously to farm coins making posts, whitout that, HIVE is not a cool place. Marky can't talk to you, he has no arguments, just a big hammer.

I tried to speak out on the HIVE Discord, but all I got was mockery from other users and "advice" when they didn't even bother to read what I posted. This is HIVE. Someone with power silences you by shouting Long live freedom. I even wanted to talk to @hivewatchers . Other users (I won't name names) do worse things, and the owls don't even say anything. He also refused to speak to me privately.

Although I understand that it has nothing to do with him, I thought he could give me his point of view, that's why I mentioned it.

Good to know it, HIVE went from free speech to plutocrazy in a couple of clicks

You are completely right, brother. This injustice that's being done simply because others have more "power" than you ends up sinking people who: 1) have nothing to do with the problems and 2) people who want to somehow help communities grow and their wings get clipped simply by an automatic downvote that makes no sense. If you just don't like it, ignore it; you don't have to make life impossible for someone who isn't doing anything wrong.

I hope this post invites reflection and makes people realize that the intention is to help communities grow and contribute a small grain of sand, even if minimal, to maintain activity. I hope it encourages people to support and help each other instead of looking at the other person's pond. But as you can see, it's quite complicated because everything ends up being managed by those who have the most, which is a shame.

You have my full support, brother, with whatever you need. Both for being a dear friend and for being a very good user of the platform and having helped me when I needed it too.

All the best.

Thanks friend, you are an example of someone who came to the network to talk about something he likes, invited in a certain way by me, I'm sorry you have to see this.

I'm not sure Hive will ever be 'fair', but I still consider it a place of potential. We are stuck with the fact that a few people have a lot of power and may choose to use it against others. I don't know the full details of what happened to you, but it seems you are trying to make something here. With such a small community we need people who will try to build here.

I do think Rising Star deserves more support as it has built a cool community and supports musicians. Unfortunately some have been driven away by things they have seen and they may tell others not to bother with Hive. That does us no favours. Maybe those doing the downvoting think it was justified, but I've seen far too many people leave. Is it so bad if some people make a few bucks posting here?

I've also seen people quit very noisily whilst attacking various others. That is not healthy either. That can just make you more enemies.

I just want people to get along and build Hive into something more significant. It can do a lot of good.

!BEER

I understand your point. I'd even say, seeing this, who would leave their HP hive when someone deletes your rewards without telling you? Who would like that?
I'd like you to read the post in detail, and I'd like Marky to do so too, but I see he's not interested in the network.

You know I'm grateful for the time you dedicated to Hive NFTGama Latino. It was great to have your support.

There are many negative votes I don't fully understand; it's definitely being misused. I hope the biggest witnesses, along with the rest of the witnesses and the community in general, do something about it, because we've lost many good users of our Blockchain due to this issue, meaningless downvotes, and no response.

Greetings, Bro, I hope this gets resolved soon.

I also hope it is resolved. It is unfair. It is not good to allow the abuse of power. The network came to promise "freedom," which many have as a slogan... it ends up being freedom for them.

¡Felicitaciones!

We respect your decision to stay. I've also been receiving downvotes from those two accounts nonstop for two weeks. They've simply demonetized everything. I haven't received any payment for my posts for two weeks, and I don't think it's fair.

I've also spoken out, sought help, and sought to reconcile with the bots' authors, but nothing—just nonstop downvotes. I think enough's enough. It's not fair to work for free. We all have the right to be respected, and if our work is good, someone should vote for it. If it isn't, then nothing happens. But downvotes based on revenge, personal gain, or simply whimsy have no place.

I don't want to say I'm leaving Hive completely. I'll come back from time to time and give votes and comments to worthy authors, but my participation, at least for a while, will be reduced. Thanks to everyone.

It's ironic that he thinks he's always right, while those who think they're right are always wrong.
