The world is having a great shift towards AI, and we are all in the same race. There are so many beautiful AI tools available that make our work easier. In order to be more productive, it is important to learn these tools and make our tasks easier. I have been experimenting with several AI tools for coding. So far, the experiences have been very great.
It is believed that in another 6 months' time, there will be a drastic reduction in the number of software developer jobs. Today, we are already able to do wonders with the help of the AI agents that we can use for coding. Soon, this will be the new ways and everyone in the market will have to start adapting to this model. Today I wanted to try Codex AI on my VS Code. I spent a few hours on this, and I got a great experience already. Of course, there were a few pros and cons but overall the experience was very good.

I was looking for an AI tool that I can use inside VS Code for development. I use a free version of GitHub Copilot, but the tokens provided in the free version are not sufficient for me. That's why I wanted to see if there are similar AI options available. I know for a fact that Claude code is a lot better, but they also have a premium paid version. Codex AI is from Chat GPT, and the free version itself has a great capacity.
Though it was a bit slow, I found it good. With tools like these, people can start converting their ideas into perfect code. The future will be built like this. I'm going to take some more time to explore Codex AI. But the first experience was very good: I was converting a project from JavaScript to TypeScript, and it did a great job. When I experiment more with an advanced job, then only will I know the real worth of this. But I'm sure there will always be some other alternative that will be better. This is how the AI industry is going to evolve. I think we all will have to adapt slowly.

I was told that AI coding is not really that secured and should not be tried out
