The Last Walk

No. Not the last walk I will make. Just since my life change.
I have been going to the exercise gym recently.
Walking is what I will be doing a little of in the future.
I want to anyway. We are so busy..............

Another typical Florida house in our community.

Do I like it? Yes. Here is Florida. The humidity is high. And that is good for dry skin.
I have been thinking about Las Vegas. But, that is a very dry climate. Dry skin could be a problem.

The need to work up a sweat would be understood more then I think.
Here. We sweat so much working in the yard and with construction work.
That is a big help for getting rid of body contaminates. That is important for us.

Here in Sarasota County. We see these signs all around.

You never have to go far to get a ride to where you need to go.
In Sarasota County. Anyone that isn't in a hurry. Saves a lot of money.
It is much cheaper than vehicle ownership.

Some places are tucked away from view by the bushes and trees.
In the summer. The shade is appreciated.

We are here at this time of our walk.

The pelican has found a perch to sit on. While he keeps looking at the water below for food.

Here is another one closer to the water ready to pounce on the fish in the water. I see mullet in there. Brackish water is here. Salt water mixed with fresh water.

Do you like to look at the water and the birds as I do? I love the water and birds.
It is so calming to the soul to see such natural beauty.

Pat would kill me if she knew I posted this. She is a good woman.
Sure. She is old/er. But that is not the problem. She has abandoned herself.
Very weak in walking distance and strength. You cannot neglect yourself as you grow older.

Since Katie is here. I will see if I can get her to help Pat. You will not stay around for the many years if you don't eat right and exercise right. I have always tried to be active.
Will I be around for many more years? I think so. But, I could be wrong.

The bicyclist are always around riding along. Imagine that. That is very good exercise and you get to view so much more than walking.

A pool cage next to the water. I guess it is safer. Away from the alligators. Ha

This is a more modest house. But, to me. It is good enough. More than enough actually.
Here is some wisdom that I have acquired over the years. The more you obtain in stuff.
The greater the pain in taking care of all of it. To keep all of the stuff looking nice.
It takes a lot of time and effort. Who will do that 24/7? I don't really want to.
But, yes, I have overloaded myself at this point. Ugh on that.

But, we see with less house. That leaves more for other things, such as garages and cars.
That makes sense to me. Remember this about me as you read along.
I like common sense. Foolishness doesn't appeal to me. Of course, we all have our
interpretation of what is wise and what is foolish. Ha

Is this extravagant? Maybe. It has an indoor pool. In the winter. That is nice to have.
The yard must be maintained by someone. If we play all the time. Something will suffer.
Ugh on that. lol

And finally. Have a look at this before we go.

Please keep in mind that someone has to take care of this.
After it has been in the water. It will need to be cleaned inside and out.
Wheels will need care over the months and years.
The boat is a trap to me. I would rather be riding a 3-wheel motorcycle. Ha
Boat owners often say two things about boat ownership.
You are happy the day you get it and the day you sell it. Ha ha
That can be so true for some. But some boat owners will dispute that.
We like to eat good fish. And some like to water ski. Each person decides in their life.

That is the end of this walk my friends. I have much more. The time just runs out.
I could spend all day, every day just typing and posting away on Steemit.
But that could get very tiring over the weeks and months.
For all of us.

So let us just sing along. What can we find for ourselves. Hmmm
No tear-jerkers for me today. I hope you wasn't looking for a sad song.

I have cried enough for you over the weeks/months.
Time to get back to life.

You did know that she has a lovely voice? She has been hiding that from
all of us. It is OK Rebecca. You can come out from behind the curtains now.
We all know. We heard you with the parrot.
I know. "Francis. I don't have time."
That is the problem for so many people. Just not enough time. I get that.
