I had an interesting conversation with a loved one...
We were having a conversation about eating out. How on the weekends many are out with there family eating out...
Her favorite statement is " No one likes to cook anymore"...
And she admits that she has adopted the same attitude...
She likes to eat out on certain days and so forth...
Honestly speaking that's great, if that is what make you happy so be it...
So I'd asked with eating out, entertainment, traveling, luxury car and apartment are you saving for your future...
She looked at me and said " Yes, I am saving within my 401K"...
I let her know that's an awesome start...
Folks understand, it's great that you are living for today...
But understand you may live to be 100 ( providing you're taking care of yourself )...
If you live on a $80,000 income today what would you need to live off of in retirement?
Many of you are not calculating the numbers...
Unless you work a government or state job that has a pension plan, what do you really have? a 401k? With how much in it?
Whatever you making today you need at least that amount coming in during retirement...
Have you thought about that?
Have you sat down and did the numbers?
The worse thing is to have such a great life now and then have it all change after you retired...
Retirement is suppose to be your golden years...
Go and take some time and see where you're at financially...
