RE: Two Catastrophes, No Solutions Yet

in #war3 years ago

I also thin Bibi Netanyahu policy was wrong and that man is bad for Israel, but that is not one milimeter reducing blame from Hamas and Gaza, and if anything, Bib is to soft with them caring about his own survival.

Sort:

Bibi is using the conflict in Gaza to prevent being tried in court for his alleged crimes. If he has funded, trained, and planned Hamas' actions, he shares the blame for them, and they have been arms of Israeli government policy.

Outside of claims Hamas killed Israelis, there are numerous claims the IDF has done so, including by survivors of those attacks. There is also the public policy Israel has to destroy kidnappers even if doing so also kills their hostages.

I do not find Palestinian civilians in any way liable for acts committed by an organization funded by Israel (no matter if someone else also funded it), and apparently facilitated by the IDF in letting them enter Israel to commit those acts, that created a political environment favorable to the accused criminal government of Netanyahu. Particularly not Palestinian children, and every just legal jurisdiction in the world today prohibits blowing up children when they are in harm's way. The Geneva Conventions specifically prohibit such acts. No justification for blowing up innocent civilians used as human shields is codified in international law, and no just jurisdiction would claim, or try to enact such law.

I see that Israel is being said to make such claims. I cannot verify this is true, but I cannot verify it because I do not speak Hebrew, and do not believe the lying news services that make these claims. If it is true that Israel is trying to claim it is lawful to blow up children, hospitals, and refugee camps because there are bad guys there, that claim is a lie, and those making that claim need to be tried for war crimes against humanity and hanged if they actually do so.

Israel, nor the USA, has any right to commit war crimes because someone else did, and solely and fully is guilty of any such crimes it commits regardless of any rhetoric or acts others may take.

P.S. I asked myself:

Can an Israeli and a Palestinian communicate linguistically?
in the german wiki it says about Israel:

The Israeli population forms a culturally diverse society in which a number of languages are spoken. According to the Israel Central Bureau of Statistics, there are 33 languages and dialects in Israel. The most commonly used languages are the official language Hebrew as well as Arabic, ...

In a way, Israel then would be to Palestine what Austria and Switzerland would be to Germany, no?

Where would peace be the best solution, other than in these closely neighbouring countries?

To see if you can trust your government one indicator would be if the language of the neighbor is being forbidden as just naturally spoken or where actions can be detected that the language shall be eliminated from the public realm.

thank you. If that remains so, I think it's a good sign.

"...Israel giving up land..."

Israel continues to give up land today, in Gaza, as it has across Palestine since before Golda Meir attained to political power. Gaza today is exactly the example of how Israel gives up land.

Israel bulldozes indigenous villages, removes them from the maps, and builds atop their ruins Israeli settlements.

Exactly as expected of a terrorist criminal organization genociding and ethnically cleansing indigenous people from their ancestral homeland.
