Water is an essential commodity that cannot be over emphasized on, we need water for so many countless things, as a matter of fact I will not be over saying it if I make conclusions that no human could possibly exist without water because we basically need water for all that we do which includes; washing, cooking bathing, drinking and all other necessary activities.

There are various sources of water as well which includes; tap water, well water,stream water, lake , ocean, borehole and the likes . The source we get water from will determine to a large extent what we will use the water for although this statement might not be true as we have lots of technological facilities that has been created to enhance the purity of water, even water obtained from dirty sources will not be recognized after been treated.

It has been discovered that as much as water is treated, so many harms are still caused by water borne disease. Water could be abused when things are discarded into it unneccsary.

I know of a community that has a large stream and they wash into the stream, bath in the stream, get water to drink from the stream and this was because that was the only source in the community, it is just that different times have been segregated for everyone to take water from the stream for different purpose and I wonder how people in this community will escape water borne diseases.

People should endeavour not to dispose waste into water bodies as there are proper ways to store and recycle this waste.

This dirts that are constantly thrown at water bodies causes great destruction such as; destroying of houses close by, when the water body does not have the means to flow well it transfers all it's force on buildings and it destroys them.

Industrial wastes, oil waste and radio active pollution should also be avoided as much as possible.
