We had something like that for comment votes back in the day, but automated voting on comments is pretty problematic. Might work okay in specific waves containers, but there are a lot more limitations around quality.
I have some ideas around signaling votes (Hive SBI users upvote a comment, that signals to our program that the comment is okay to upvote, and it also receives votes from us) that integrate into our tentative DAO design, but our dev budget is very limited right now.

Technically you are right, but fundamentally Hive is far more stable and I would say futuristic than many other currencies. And even if this is due to a lack of buying interest, what could be the reason?
Partly it's down to people not knowing about it. The crypto speculators will go where they can make big returns, but Hive is a 'long game'. Anyone can earn here without having to invest money. We need a bigger audience to attract more creators.

Actually, it is not difficult to invite people, it is difficult to retain them. As you said HIVE is a long game, Success on this platform is also a long game for which I think patience and consistency are very important. But people have become very impatient nowadays.
I would like Hive to be compelling for the content and engagement as well as the rewards. People currently go to other sites for no rewards and we need a slice of that. The rewards can be a bonus. I enjoy the Hive experience and I know others do too. Not everything is about money.

That’s some sound advice my friend. We tend to do that way too much in today’s society. 20 year olds think they need what their parents have in their 40’s and later. And 40 year olds think they need everything people in their 50’s and 60’s have, lol. It’s a vicious cycle 🔄
