Yep, it's been a thing for two days now. Engage is a Hive interface that allows you to check and respond to comments/replies and mentions. It can be set so that it opens all links in Ecency, so once you find them, then you can open Ecency to upvote and reply. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

The app is technically accessible at the moment at its website https://engage.hivechain.app/inbox, though all feeds (comments, mentions, and others) currently fail to load. 🤯😅 That means like @savvyplayer, I won't be able to reply to older comments in the meantime until the app gets fixed. 🧘♂️🤗

In other words, when @savvyplayer told me yesterday that when they tried to load the #HiveEngage website, it did not load at all for them, but when I tried it more than an hour later, the app loaded but with empty feeds. 🤔🤯😅

I think that it's likely that if you encountered such technical issue with #HiveEngage, you would be discouraged with responding to (old) comment notifications until it gets fixed !INDEED. 🤔🧘♂️🤯🤓

I don't know if 'discouraged' is the word that I'd use, perhaps 'annoyed'. I would always find a way to respond to them, the process just may be a bit slower. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

Looks like we respond (a bit) differently whenever #HiveEngage is down, even if both of us find difficulty in responding to (old) comment notifications. 🤔🤯 In my case, I literally get discouraged from replying to old comments for the day whenever Hive Engage encounters technical problems (very likely the same with @savvyplayer) !INDEED. 🤯😅

That technical problem with #HiveEngage reminds me of the initiative to make as many Hive apps Free and Open-Source! 😅 That will allow other Hive devs (where @borniet comes first to mind) to host their own instance of Hive Engage, with modifications such as the increase of the 7-day limit for the feeds (for comments, mentions, etc.). 🤓

Imagine a dev team on Hive asking for funding for hosting their app for a huge amount (per month), where they can simply make their codes FOSS (and encourage other Hive devs to host the app themselves) so that they don't have to pay as much. 💸🧘♂️🤯🤓
