Those miners out there who only have under-powered AC units (or worse yet, only have open windows and fans) instead of a CRAC unit to cool your mining equipment understand staying in the mining server rooms sometimes requires a different dress code. Especially in summer... 😓

Yup, those of us who mine crypto know a bit about how difficult in can be to keep a server room cool in the summer... 😏
I guess in winter it can keep you warm. I have not done any serious mining. I did use to run distributed.net for no reward. People build rigs that were the equivalent of modern mining rigs just to get higher in the charts. They probably had to deal with heat issues too.

Born and raised in Alaska, currently living in northcentral Mongolia. I guess I wasn't happy simply being in a cold, northern place, so I just had to go to a cold, northern place where I stick out like a sore thumb and barely speak the language 😀
As for the title, it's a play-on-words of the term "Proof-Of-Stake", with Jake being the central character. Never imagined "jake" had that particular usage, but I'll just take it as another reminder that the Scottish seem to have a gift for... how can I put it... colorful language 😏
