HI Friends,
I had a good weekend and hope each of you did as well.
My wife went out of town on Friday evening to help a local nonprofit on a planning retreat, so it was me and the kids. It was a fun weekend :)
On Saturday, we visited my grandparents for a little bit, then went swimming at my moms house. We swam for a long time, then went to In-N-Out Burger for dinner. We had a “campout” in the living room, where we brought out our sleeping bags and slept on the carpet. One highlight was cookie making with my daughter based on a receipt from one of her books.. I made the jumbo ones!
On Sunday, we went to church in the morning, then spent the afternoon at the house. We played games, legos and hot wheels, then picked my wife up in the afternoon. We had a dinner of leftovers and played some games before the weekend was over.
Overall, a good weekend!
