Here it is - an obvious difference when you work as a freelancer and when you are an employee. This difference is called Friday!
I haven't been looking forward to Fridays for a long time!
When I worked exclusively for myself, all my days merged into one day without a name. Both Wednesdays and Sundays were exactly the same in terms of content.
But when I returned to my former job in the fall, I began to notice how the event of the week was changing.
Even if I work remotely, I still perceive Friday with relief. Even if I plan to tighten the accumulated deadlines over the weekend, it's still time that belongs only to me. It's relaxation.
Tomorrow I have a chance to get enough sleep. Although I know that I will still wake up quite early in the morning, but it will be a different morning. It will only be my morning, when I won't be in a hurry.
