Number One:
Today, April 5, I am celebrating a year of having left Venezuela, not for pleasure, and I had planned to return by the end of this month, which will not be possible since the borders are closed until further notice. The Colombian government is estimating an extension of the quarantine for one more month. So I have to wait for the coronavirus threat to go down a bit.
As soon as this happens and the borders open again, I will run towards my country.
Number two:
After arriving, the next thing I will do is look for my mom and give her a hug that will last half an hour. My mom is 80 years old and I have not seen her for a year, only by WhatsApp video calls, but the best thing is a hug personally and give her a big kiss.
Number three:
The third thing I will do is hug my daughter, who was left alone, having difficulties at home, and although I have sent her some pesos, that many times is not enough.
She has been very brave during this year and she tells me that she has learned from this experience, she lacks her mother (me), her sister and her nephews. Every day she tells me that we need her a lot and I tell her that I love her.
The rest will come in addition, work, friends, my neighbors, etc. We plan to have a meeting with all the family members who believe me is enough.
I already want the coronavirus to end, meanwhile stay home.
