Is this really your story??? My best friend (who is also my ex) and I follow you on YouTube and we always watch your Women of POF together, it's just so funny!!! All this time I imagined you to be some single guy just fed up with the dating scene, not a guy stuck in a hellhole marriage... but if this really is your story I'm truly sorry... And there IS a way out! DIVORCE her ass LOL... she obviously doesn't love you, or she would be accepting of your family and friends. Get rid of her and find you a woman who will love the whole package which includes your loved ones. Also, why dont you post your YT videos here, the POF ones are a riot but they are all good... Just upload them to DTube. :)

Not my story, but a few shared aspects.
Not very impressed with Steemit or Dtube to be honest.
I'm pretty new here, but I agree about Dtube... I've yet to be able to watch a whole video without it freezing up, and it isn't my connection, I stream everything else just fine. It is definitely hard to find a supporting crowd here, but once you do it does make a difference.
I scrolled through all your posts but didn't see an #introduceyourself post... Lots of curators look there daily scouting for new accounts to follow and curate. Maybe if you created an intro post that included your personal story, mention your YT channel (esp mention your 10k+ followers there), you'd get the attention of some whales. They are especially looking for people with a YT following in hopes that the creator will bring some of those followers with them.
Regardless, I have followed, and hope you don't give up on Steemit yet! Good luck! ;)
