Life has been quite smooth for me in recent years, at least on the personal side. At my job, it is a different story, there are always challenges waiting for me, big and small, that consume a lot of my time and energy.
Sometimes I remind myself that these challenges are also the reason my role still matters. As long as there are problems that need real judgment, empathy, and responsibility, I feel that my presence is still valuable in the company. It also makes me think that my job is, for now, still safe from being fully replaced by AI or humanoids of the future.

I understand why some people are worried about technology taking over their jobs. The future is becoming more high tech, and the speed of change feels faster every year. It is not easy to simply shift from one career to another, especially when our financial situation limits our options. On paper it sounds simple, in real life it is a heavy decision with real consequences.
There is a quote I keep in mind whenever I think about this topic: “The greatest danger in times of turbulence is not the turbulence, it is to act with yesterday’s logic.” – Peter Drucker. It is a good reminder that we cannot control the pace of change, but we can control how we respond to it.
Life can be brutal for some of us, especially in this fast paced world of technology, but I hope we will have enough strength and wisdom to make the right choices for ourselves, one step at a time.
