Bir ayrık otu gibi dik durup gerektiği yerde dikenlerini çıkarmak cesaret ister çünkü. O düzeni hiçe saymak, hak aramak adına ondan vazgeçmek gerekir. Oysa biz, güya farklı olmak adına sıradanlaşıp, çifte koşulan hayvanlar gibi uygun adım sürükleriz boyunduruğumuzu. Çünkü akşama başımızı sokacak bir dama, kursağımızdan geçip bizi doyuracak iki lokma ekmeğe muhtacız. Ama sanmayın bu masum ihtiyaçlarımız sonrasında hoyrat şımarıklıklara dönüşmemiş. Bu bitmek bilmez isteklerimiz yüzünden her sabah aynı yerde dolanmış durmuşuz, boyunduruğumuz omuzlarımızı çökertmiş ne gam!
Hepsinden de evlâsı “çalış, ye, uyu” düzeninin hüküm sürdüğü ömrümüzde bizlere düşünecek zaman kalmaması. Düşünmek, mutsuz eder; rahatsız eder; sorgulamak, şüpheye düşürür; şüpheler düzenimizi alt üst eder. Ve tüm bunların bize verdiği tek his huzursuzluktur. Bu denli uzun çalışma saatleri neden? Bu denli uzun diziler, filmler, reklamlar neden? Bu denli uzun uykular, yolculuklar neden? Bir de o yolculukları kısaltmaya çalışmamız yok mu, sanki kalan vakitte dünyayı kurtacakmışız gibi. Bedenlerimizi bu denli çalıştırıp yormaları, akşamlarımızı da uydurma iş ve alışkanlıklarla doldurmaları bundan. Bizleri düşünemeyecek kadar bîtap düşürmek için. O düşüncelere ne zaman fırsat buluruz biliyor musun? Her gün tıkır tıkır işleyen dişlimiz teklediğinde; boyunduruğumuz gevşediğinde; akşama başımızı sokacak dam, yiyecek ekmek korkusu içimizde bir zakkum gibi sürgün verdiğinde.
Sana bir sır vereyim; insanlar her gün her yerde bu korkularla mücadele ediyor, hakları çiğneniyor, emekleri sömürülüyor ve hatta öldürülüyor. Tüm bu olanlar seni şimdiye kadar nasıl ilgilendirmediyse şimdi de senin o küçük dünyanın düzeninin bozulması kimsenin umurunda değil.
