Keeping at it! :)

Had a difficult, but awesome adventure yesterday!
I decided to try to hike all the way to town for the first time since I got sick and... I made it all the way!

Hiking to town was a bit of a challenge even before I got sick and was in pretty good physical shape(in my opinion anyways). And... I am pretty sore! Usually after doing that I would be sore for a day or two, so... If I recover for the most part in the next two days I think that will be epic, but it's already epic for me just that I was able to make it all the way!

It was a bit hot too! I'm very impressed with myself and am much further along than I thought at least in regard to my leg strength and endurance. My upper body is still a bit weak, however now I know at least if some kind of emergency happens that I can walk for a longggg time! And up hill as well. Climbing the more vertical cliff areas I usually climbed was a bit more difficult than usual, but once again... My upper body isn't there yet... Hopefully in time! And hopefully I get even stronger than I used to be. <3

Unfortunately this picture I included has some power lines in front of Coffee Pot Rock, but... I still thought it was a beautiful view the way the autumn colors of that tree were sort of "framing" the mountain! What an amazing place to live. :) I feel so fortunate and grateful.

Anyways... I think that's it for now. Peace, much love and bye until next time! 👽 ❤️ 🤗 🦦 🤠 🌈 🦥 🧙 🦋 🐐 🛸

PS... I just looked on Google Earth to see how far that hike is and it looks like the path I went ended up being close to 7 miles! A good portion of it is uphill as well! I think the Grand Canyon trail is around 20 miles if I remember correctly? So, I hiked almost half of the Grand Canyon. Woot! :D

That's awesome man congratulations. 7 miles is a huge achievement. That's something to be proud of. Great photo as well. I like the vibrant colors.

Also, how do you choose your emojis for your posts? You got a Cowboy hat, an armadillo type creature, a sloth, alien, wizard, goat...etc lol. 😂 They seem so random but maybe they are telling a story 🤔

Thanks leaky20! I agree. I'm on a good track! Been making great progress. :) Also glad to hear you appreciated the photo! And yeah, some nice colors. Lol, to answer your question about the emojis... It started out with just the alien one cause I love aliens so much and then it started to expand to more and more different ones. The Cowboy hat guy reminds me of Indiana Jones. The armadillo looking one is an otter! :D Ferrets are one of my favorite animals, and they look similar to otters in my opinion.
Sloths are just cute, lol... As I mentioned before I love aliens, the wizard is because I've been getting in magic a lot lately and the goat is because I was nicknamed the goat by my friend in person who I've gone hiking with. Heh... Because of how good I am at climbing around the cliffs and stuff. The goat is also a cool animal with a lot of symbolism! Like goat can stand for "God of all things" for example. So, yeah... There's quite a bit of meaning to the symbolism! I appreciate your curiosity. <3

I figured there would be some interesting meaning behind them because you're so into symbology and that sort of thing. You didn't disappoint! Very cool. Thanks for explaining
