One interesting thing that happened on the quest the other day with my brother that I can talk about right now is that right when we showed up to the spot we were going to and got out of the car we heard a really weird sound.
I'm not familiar with what it was, but it almost sounded kind of like a wolf howling from the direction of the location we were headed...
We don't have any wolves here where I live, we have coyotes but they sound a lot different when they howl and such!
The sound was also a bit distinct from a wolf and I'm having trouble finding the words to describe it, but it was kind of similar...
Also, the night before I asked my dreams to show me things I would see or experience during that quest and I had a number of dream symbols which manifested to some extent including a funny weird dream where Joe Rogan was talking about how he wanted to fight in the cryptozoologist league of the UFC... Lol.
That didn't make sense at the time and I just thought it was funny, but now thinking back to whatever that sound was... Makes me wonder because cryptozoologists do study animals which are disputed to exist..
Wonder if it coulda been a Skinwalker? To be totally straight forward, I don't think it was likely to be a Skinwalker or some other kind of cryptid...
But... I don't know what it was and I try to keep my mind open to the possibilities.
I remember one time before I mentioned I saw a creature on one of my adventures a while back that I didn't know what it was.
I think it's possible when you get out to some of these remote nature areas that there could be species tucked away which haven't been recognized yet.
Is that really so crazy?
Cryptozoologists are often labeled as crazy or that they are doing pseudoscience because some of them search for things like Bigfoot and Loch Ness which are disputed to exist, but the more I actually look into those kinds of subjects the more open minded I become to some of those kinds of ideas as well.
There's a lot we don't know as a species! It can feel comfortable to think we know so many things as humans...
Though, it can also feel liberating to be open minded to the possibilities which we might not even be able to consider or contemplate yet at this point in time due to limited understanding...
You don't know what you don't know.
Maybe it was a coyote with fucked up vocal cords 😅
Haha. Not sure if you were totally joking or being a lil serious so I'll just say that I have my doubts because the animals sound so much differently, though I do try to keep my mind open to the possibilities.... So, perhaps...?
I was like 15% serious and 85% joking 😅. Still sometimes animals make strange sounds. My cat makes meows that sound noting like a cat sometimes.
Thanks for clarifying. :) I agree, there's additional details too though like the distance and how loud coyotes can get, didn't seem like coyotes would be that loud from that far away, but who knows maybe I'm wrong... Maybe it was a coyote with a weird sound.
Echo sometimes plays a trick too, modifying sounds. Ultimately, there are many possibilities, who knows.
