"After Rain Comes Sunshine..."
You can probably imagine how a broken tooth can affect your social life in different ways. You're constantly focused on your mouth and your teeths so whenever you talk with someone you feel socially awkward and you're desperately trying to hide the broken tooth. You try to avoid eye contact and you're constantly trying to never stand face to face with someone. You try to stand more "shoulder to shoulder" so to speak, which obviously makes people wonder what the hell is wrong with you. You might also try to never stay still, as that would make it easier to spot that empty space between your teeths.
This is what I've been doing during this last week. I don't know about you, but this affects me tremendously. I couldn't get an appointment until next week, so I've had to endure this for more than a week. Hopefully, everything will be okay, so they're able to fix this...
I've never had to endure a week with a gap between two teeths because one of them decided to burst into two pieces for some reason. It's hard to explain, but that's basically what happened. I just felt something on my tounge, and it was a piece of my tooth. I haven't experienced any pain, which I'm obviously grateful for, but it's extremely annoying and it feels awkward. I wish I would've said that I had insane pain... That would've given me an appointment sooner.

After rain comes sunshine... And that's what I wanted to talk about today. It's about trying to focus on the positive things, and even though there are nothing positive with having a broken tooth, other things have been great and positive in many ways.
In fact, this has probably been one of the most motivational and inspiring weeks in a long time. Even though many of these things started a few weeks back, it isn't until now we can fully understand how amazing it has been.
We Made 316 Minnows In One Month:
"On the 5th of March we announced we were going to make 250 new minnows on STEEM in a month. The aim of this event was to kick start and raise awareness an initiative by @steevc to create #tenkminnows by the end of this year. With a passion to support those powering up and helping to create a strong middle class on STEEM, it was a no brainer for @steemcommunity to step forward, set a target and deploy a plan to achieve it."
Minnow-ASAP:
During the "250 in a month" push, I also lauched the Minnow-ASAP. An initiative to push only a few selected red fish for a few weeks in an attempt to strengthen our STEEM foundation.
"These people are below the "usual" limit of 450 Steem Power that most other initiatives have, but Minnow-ASAP does not exclude users depending on their size. We judge and base our support out of kindness, generosity and willingness to support "lesser" accounts in an attempt to strengten the middle class on STEEM."
I am glad to say that we've had great success so far and each of these 4 users we have pushed has come a long way. @wildhomesteading, @kansuze, @skramatters and @curatorcat currently sits at: 334 SP, 395 SP, 211 SP and 397 SP.

OCDB Whitelist:
About two weeks ago, I saw the OCDB recommendation post and I quickly wrote a comment in an attempt to nominate myself. I've never been good at promoting myself, but it's safe to say that everything went well.
I'm not sure if those comments had any impact or not, but I have been added to the whitelist and I am obviously grateful for the awesome comments and for the opportunity to be added to the list.
Magic Dice:
I have been able to get more than 4.2 million Magic Tokens, which was my goal when I started to "invest". 4.2 million tokens seems to yield me anything between 4 and 11 Steem per day in daily dividends. This is an incredible passive income and who knows, it might result in greater profits when the SMTs are launched. Until then, I'm satisfied with the passive income I have. 4-11 Steem per day is obviously just an estimation and it might change with time. However 4 Steem per day equates to 120 Steem per month or 1460 Steem per year.
- I'm obviously satisfied with a passive income like that.

Haha, no. It's not a pleasure and even though it's not the "end of the world", it affects both my confidence and my social life.
What makes everything even worse, is the price to fix it. It's really expensive. It will cost me about 250-300 USD to get this fixed. In case they can repair it.
If they can't repair it, they will have to remove the tooth and do some sort of tooth transplant, and that costs me well more than that. Probably up to about 900 USD.
So I really hope that I'm lucky enough to repair it. I'll just have to wait until Monday before I know how this goes.
Well.. it's you who think it affected your social life and confident😊 if you are not a role model of tooth paste advertisiment.. then, none would noticed it 😂

Yeaaapp.. we have "ahli gigi" or private tooth experts here😊 I think I saw 2 sign of their working place around my neighborhood😊 you can make an artificial tooth and perhaps transplant it as well.. though you can always go to the dentist too😊

Yeah, it was a really good week. Now, I just hope I'll be able to fix my tooth next week, and that the coming week will be equally good as this one. :)
Great progress all around! The Magic Dice dividend is really great for sustainable growth! I may have to check that out eventually! Prospects here continue to growth every day and seem to be more encouraging as we see new user onboard and become active. Prices in general are also strong so we have plenty to be happy about!

Yeah! We've seen green numbers, which is really cool. Now, I'm just eager to get myself another passive income. I know there are other gambling sites out there, but I honestly don't think it's the best investment for me, personally. Also, many of them haven't started to pay daily dividends yet, and haven't launched their tokens either.. So I'll probably wait until I see an announcement of that before even thinking about investing anything.
Gambling is risky too, and it's not worth to risk literally thousands of Steem without real evidence of some sort of dividends. The only reason I went "big" with Magic Dice is because the amazing win I got. Without that, I would never have "invested" this much.
A broken tooth can't be nice. Good to hear that progress on Steem is keeping your spirits up. We have achieved a lot recently with boosting people to minnow. Definitely want to continue that through this year to see even better results.
Nope, it's awful. But hopefully, it will be fixed on Monday, without costing me a small fortune. The progress on Steem feels great though, it's amazing to see all the positivity and all the good things. I love it!
Nice update, keep the positivity going! The pic of your tooth looks like it only chipped, and doesn't look really noticeable... I say embrace it and face people with a smile and I bet most people won't even notice! Also, a small English tip: teeth is the plural of tooth and it doesn't need an "s" at the end. 😊 🤗

Well, you earn 25 MAGIC tokens per STEEM right now, and I guess you'll do that for the next ~7% of the distribution too. After that, it will be half, which leads to 12.5 MAGIC tokens per STEEM wagered.
Personally, I would say that it's still worth it, but many others would say the opposite. As you also have the daily leaderboard, where you can get a large chunk of MAGIC tokens, I'd say go for it for anyone willing to invest.
I mean, just 25% of what I have now, would still be about 1-3 STEEM per day on average. However, that obviously depends on how much they've earned in total, so the amount varies.

I usually don't promote my ref links, but from what I've seen so far, Magic Dice seems to deliver. Today was a "bad" day in terms of dividends but I still got 3.304 STEEM.

If you're only looking to earn MAGIC tokens, I'd recommend "over 6" or "under 95" type of bets. You will still lose eventually, but it would definitely be the best way to get tokens. It's a good way to minimize the investment, and still get tokens in a rapid way.

Yes. Invest = Bet in this case, because that is basically what you're doing, even though you risk losing your STEEM/SBD. Especially with Magic Dice, as MD is the only gambling dApp out there with daily dividends so far. (From my understanding). And the daily dividends are based on Tokens + Total amount of STEEM wagered per day.

Tooth problems can be pretty awful... be happy you're not in horrible pain; there are few things more distracting and distressing than dental pain.
The Minnow-making initiatives do seem to be going really well... I passed 400SP today, and seems like I'm about "due" to get one of the larger votes that sometimes come my way... there are about four different "Orcas" that occasionally drop me a vote... also got a Blocktrades vote once; that was pretty exciting!
