Go in and disable services that aren't needed (if you know what you are doing). Personally, I like disabling Cortana among other things.

I too am concerned with Cortana. Anything that wants to 'get to know you' needs a tremendous amount of access and must monitor what you do. I prefer privacy and to be in control. It would be nice if Microsoft would have a clear setting to easily disable and remove Cortana, but apparently this is against their position of serving their customers by knowing them better.
They've preferred money over privacy of their customers, that sort of things doesn't surprise me anymore...
Yes Cortana is the one which should be first disable.
