I too am concerned with Cortana. Anything that wants to 'get to know you' needs a tremendous amount of access and must monitor what you do. I prefer privacy and to be in control. It would be nice if Microsoft would have a clear setting to easily disable and remove Cortana, but apparently this is against their position of serving their customers by knowing them better.
