Aperitifs
Aperitifs (from the Latin "aperire" - to open, from the French aperitif) are drinks that are served before meals. Aperitifs excite appetite and quench thirst, they are neutral with respect to taste ends and help to relax.

Dizhestivy
Dizhestivy (from the Latin digestivus and the French digestif - "helping digestion") are needed to complete the meal, to facilitate digestion and to purify (refresh) the taste buds.
Digestiv is slightly stronger than the aperitif, and stronger than the main drink with food.
The digestive should be darker than the aperitif.
Dizhestiv necessarily must be combined with the previous dishes and drinks.
