Robert Kubica - Formula 1 driver - Phenomenon - part 2

Renault

In the break between the seasons, after signing the contract with Renault, Kubica take a part in the rally. Not much success. He drive for your own experience. Robert has mentioned many times that he likes rallies and whenever he may try to participate in such competitions.

Back to the point - Season 2010.

May be said that this is Robert's return to Renault. As I mentioned, for winning the World Series by Renault, he tested champion car from 2005 year.

This season, Robert typically drive a yellow arrow, and I was already seized about F1 races. F1 cars were still not beautiful but they were prettier than those from the 2009 season. A little digression - 2008 cars in my opinion were one of the nicest car of the decade. Sadly, Bernie Ecclestone and FIA have had a different opinion and F1 has "gone" in a different direction than the fans expected, but probably also the drivers themselves.

This season, some rules have changed - refueling was banned during the race (the cars had enough fuel to cover the full distance of the race) and the scoring system changed.

The cooperation between Kubica and Renault was good. It's true that the Bahrain GP did not that good, but it was a good omen for the rest of the season. 11th place in Bahrain, it was not an outstanding feat, but better than riding in Sauber in the middle of the rate: D.

Taking second place in Kangaroo GP ... Australia, he finished a small jubilee - the 10th podium in his career. Personally, I liked Robert's collaboration with the team. It seems that of course he was the first driver in the team. The second was Vitaly ... Vitaly Petrov. Russian. And we knows how Russian ride cars. Dash cam is obligatory! This Russians guy got much easier - closed track :).

But let's go back to Robert - because it's about him this article.

The Australians have gone well, with seven consecutive races out of the first seven.
Famous GP Monaco and a crazy, flawless, total masterpiece by Robert. Of course, i mean about the third qualifying session. Millimeters from the band! Crazy guy with mega skills!

First problems with the car in the GP Great Britain. Robert as always super form. He overtook Alonso and Rosberg's like children, Vettel (grrrr!) Had problems ... probably with himself. And 3rd place was. Unfortunately on the 20th lap car tell "fuck, I'm done." and is stopped The first race of the season Kubica did not finish.

A short break between the competitions - and in Poland took place Renualt RoadShow with Robert. For the first time in Poland we could see the Formula 1 car on the Poznan circuit. Robert drove a few fans in Renualt Megane Trophy car and later sat himself in the F1 car and made some circles around the track, there were also plenty of fans and champagne fans.

Robert's show and drinking champagne :)

Germany GP and Hungary ... two races that really do not have what to write. 7th place with western neighbors and nothing of nephews. In Hungary, when the tire changes Sutil to crash into Kubica and he must end of the ride.

Out of curiosity, Rosberg lost his wheel after leaving the pit stop. His mechanics forgot to tighten it :). Penalty? 50 thousand dollars. I wonder if I will ever get to this amount thanks to Steeemit. I hope! : D

After two unsuccessful and one boring race, it was time for Robert's favorite track in Belgium - Spa-Francorchamps. Difficult name, but I managed. Third place in the qual, the same place in the race and Kubica again showed that he is a great driver.

GP Italy. Monza. Ach... this track. I was racing in F1 Challenge. Not that fast as Kubica. I had the keyboard, he had the steering wheel. Totally uneven fight :D.

Problems at pit-stop. Renault mechanics were having fun with the Mercedes mechanics and had trouble changing tires. Well, they tighten all: D. Eighth place is all he could to achieve during the race.

Singapore GP. Oh it happened, it was. And what exactly? In a nutshell - after replacing the broken tire, Robert left in thirteenth position. New tyres, he showed everyone how to ride in Formula 1. He preceded Algersuari, Buemi, Petrov (lamer), Massa, Sutil and Hulkenberg. How many? 6! Finished the 7th race.

Show my your skills!

In my birthday, 10.10.10, shit... it's already 7 years. I'm so old. Do not tell anyone :D. I was hoping for a gift from Robert. I admit, i did not watch the race - I drank alcohol xD. Not bad. I recommend not to drink too much.

Unfortunately I did not get a gift :/. The wheel fell off on the second lap.

The last two races without much history. In Brazil GP traffic jam as Kubica himself said. He could not show his skills.. He came in seventh place. In the final season Abu Dhabi was fifth.

The season finally ended in the 8th position in the general. His "team mate" was 13.

Part three probably tomorrow!

What do you think about Kubica's move to Williams for 2019? Does he have a chance to get into the points?
