Steemit Tips Series: Creating Columns😊

Hi Steemians.
I learned a useful markdown skill, called ”Creating Columns”, which I use when I write a blog comparing things like whales to dinosaurs. When I compare things it’s really nice to have the text arranged in columns, so you can compare different characteristics in a side by side manner.

Unfortunately, I can’t type the code, because it gets executed by the platform, so you wouldn’t be able to see the actual “ markdown” code. So I will take pictures of the actual code, so you know exactly what to type. Please be assured that once you see it you will be amazed at how easy it is to add this special touch to your posts. @shortsegments

So to write columns follow these three steps:

Step One: Here’s the markdown code:

Step Two: Here’s the markdown code with the text added, which you want to be in two columns.

Step Three: Here’s what the finished product looks like below.

Write you first Column Text right here followed by closing Markdown Code

Now write the Text of your 2nd Column, keep in mind that some Markdown Styling won't Work
