Steemit Tips Series: Creating Columnsđ
Hi Steemians.
I learned a useful markdown skill, called âCreating Columnsâ, which I use when I write a blog comparing things like whales to dinosaurs. When I compare things itâs really nice to have the text arranged in columns, so you can compare different characteristics in a side by side manner.
Unfortunately, I canât type the code, because it gets executed by the platform, so you wouldnât be able to see the actual â markdownâ code. So I will take pictures of the actual code, so you know exactly what to type. Please be assured that once you see it you will be amazed at how easy it is to add this special touch to your posts. @shortsegments
So to write columns follow these three steps:
Step One: Hereâs the markdown code:

Step Two: Hereâs the markdown code with the text added, which you want to be in two columns.

Step Three: Hereâs what the finished product looks like below.
