I'm not sure what I love more, going on the road trip or coming back home...

Minnie was excited as ever, since she loves to get out of the house. I think there is something "wild like" in every person that drives us to go out and on road, explore the world and be "free". I love every part of it, the planing, packing, making lists, and finally getting in the car and wishing for a good trip. The feeling of desire to venture is overwhelming.
This time we went to see a newborn baby boy in our family, Aleksej. There is this custom in our country where we all gather to welcome the newborn, and share gifts and best wishes. And it's always a great to see the very beginning of a life, and how simple and happy babies are.

Those little ones know how to live! When they are happy the whole room fills with happiness, their smile is contagious and when they need something even your neighbor will know it. There is no shame in wanting help. They love everything around them, and themselves. And the most important thing is that they love and observe every part of their body with fascination and pure love. There is no judgement. We can learn a thing or two from them, hell we were them once.
We ended our visit, and got out of the building. The rain started again, this time in those small droplets that you barely feel but they can get you soaking wet in minutes. The wind and colder weather don't go with me at all.
And there it is, the lust to go back home hiding around the corner. The feeling is as strong as desire to go on the road in the first place. I love coming back home, where I feel the most comfortable and safe, and I consider my self lucky to have such a place. The smells, rooms, bed, colors they all say:
There's no place like home.

STOPI love road trips! Especially as I became a mom. They are adventures now. Every time we leave the house.
Love your optimism, because traveling with children is a courageous undertake :)
I also love travelling even if it is just a trip into the country. I can identify with the list-making, planning and checking the destination on Google.
