Hello everyone, how are you doing today? Hope you are having a great time. This will be Week 114, Edition 02 of our Weekly Featured Content.
So, last Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun we did not want it to end. We are currently on our second topic for this week which is “COOKING OR FAST FOOD?.”
But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last one which was “SHEER INTELLIGENCE.”
This topic was geared toward each member of the community telling us about the time when they came across some children who displayed remarkable feats of intelligence. Many of them were able to show smartness that was beyond their ages, doing things that their peers would never have done.
We got to see how advanced some kids have come to be in different walks of life. There are really intelligent kids and we have a duty to make sure that such children get to grow up in an enabling environment. It was an enlightening topic indeed.
For this topic, we went through every entry post, and that is every post with the #hl-exclusive & #hl-w114e1 tag. And with the number of wonderful posts out there it was quite difficult to make a selection. But eventually, we did just that. This author told us about the daughter of a friend of hers whose daughter was considered to be a mini-genius who could easily read the room and know just the right thing to say, at just eight years old! Many times, we underestimate kids and never fully realize what they’re capable of. It’s our duty as guardians and adults to always create an enabling environment for them.

This author told us about a child whose mother fell sick. At such a young age, the child didn’t panic, not even when the adults around her ignored her. Yet, despite all odds, she was able to get help and eventually save her mother’s life.
