So, last Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun we did not want it to end. We are currently on our third topic for this week which is “FROM SCREEN TO LIFE.”

But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last one which was “COOKING OR FAST FOODS.” This topic was geared toward each member of the community telling us about their preferences when it came to cooking and fast foods. Everyone had their preference when it came to either cooking or fast foods, and it all boiled down to what their schedule was like, or how good they were when it came to cooking.

We got to see why exactly people enjoy cooking and also why many others had to patronize the fast food industry. Either way, what really matters is that we all get to eat. But the difference between both lies in what exactly we’re eating and the level of control we have over it.

For this topic, we went through every entry post, and that is every post with the #hl-exclusive & #hl-w114e2 tag. And with the number of wonderful posts out there it was quite difficult to make a selection. But eventually, we did just that. And so, the posts that will be featured not just for their exceptional content, but also for their level of engagement with other authors will be listed below.

This author told us that while cooking could be stressful, he prefers it to fast food. Fast food is only something that he does once in a while and in moments when he can’t afford to cook, probably due to time constraints or some other factor. However, when he has the time, he cooks his meals himself because that places him more in control of what he eats.

CORPORATIONS AREN’T YOUR FRIENDS by @terganftp

For this author, eating from home is the best. While eating out has its perks, it can create fond memories and be a great time for friends and family to bond, but then it is also expensive. The corporations are only interested in taking as much money as they can from us. This is why cooking at home will always be the best option for a regular meal.

This author told us that fast foods lack the nutrition required for day to day healthy living. If consumed in moderation, then there really could be no issue. However, it becomes a problem when it becomes the go-to for every meal of the day. Cooking will always be the better option.
