We have already received some terrific entries for the 100 Word Story Competition - visit #100words to have a read through.

There have been a few entrants who have had difficulty with the primary Tag - #100words - I used this so as to avoid the need to write out 'onehundredwords' - '100words' seemed easier. Sometimes things work out thusly! I always use hash tags for my tags anyway and this is how I discovered that you no longer need them! Communications Director needed.
Please use a '#' so write '#100words' as your primary tag. Just writing '100words' will result in a message telling you that you need to start with a letter.
Contest closes Saturday, so you have time to 'sensationalise' steemit with your prosaic (or poetic) genius!
100 Word Contest Regulations
- Participants are to submit their stories in posts with the #100words Tag as the primary tag. You have to use the 'hash'! Otherwise you will be told that the tag must start with a letter.
- More than one entry is permitted, though this may be reviewed!
- All entries must be in English.
- Organisers reserve the right to publish all entries submitted.
- The contest will run from Monday to Saturday. All entries must be submitted by 6pm NY time on Saturday, 18th March.
The Theme for this week is:
“SENSATION”
Prizes are as follows:
1st place receives 400 TRAIL and 10 STEEM
2nd place receives 200 TRAIL and 6 STEEM
3rd Place receives 100 TRAIL and 4 STEEM

I've googled, I've tryed to understand but I didn't manage with that. What are "trails"?:(
Hi @inber, no reason why you should know! Unless you know ... just one of the steemit peculiarities.
Trail coins or tokens are the currency managed by my good friends at SteemTrail. They run a curation operation which is a great supporter of initiatives such as this. Trail are, hence, tradable upon the cryptocurrency exchanges such as Open Ledger.
